Also, the use of such a system allows automatic generation of reports on employees activity. For example, users can automatically get reports about who have taken into acount the changes of an internal procedure.
Also within an intranet system, you can define flows of collaboration between different parts of the organization ocuppied by some users. For example, the following steps are needed for approval of a contract: any employee can enter the details of the contract, but they need the approval of the legal department and ,after that, the final approval of the financial department.
